Hrvatska ima jedan od najve?ih trokova kapitala za vjetroelektrane i sun?ane elektrane u regiji. Iako se u Hrvatskoj troak kapitala za ove projekte smanjio u zadnje dvije godine, investicije se nisu znatno pove?ale. Time se implicira da su za poticanje doma?eg trita prije svega potrebne stabilne energetske politike - zaklju?ilo je istraivanje Pricetag projekta. Studiju koju je financirala Europska klimatska fondacija i predvodila firma Ecofys, provela je za Hrvatsku firma Starfish Energy, dok su Ecofys, Eclareon istraili druga trita regije. Kao glavni razlog visokog troka kapitala u Hrvatskoj, navedena je u Pricetag studiji nestabilnost politika za poticanje obnovljivih izvora energije, kao to je zastoj u provedbi mjera iz Zakona o obnovljivim izvorima energije i visokou?inkovitoj kogeneraciji, koji je stupio na snagu 01.01.2016. godine i kojim se dosadanji sustav poticaja zamjenjuje modelom premija, me?utim koji sve do dananjeg dana nije proveden u praksi. Gledaju?i ponderirani prosje?ni troak kapitala (eng. Weighted Average Cost of Capital - WACC) u Hrvatskoj projekti vjetroelektrana i sun?anih elektrana imaju troak od 7 do 9% dok najmanje rizi?ne investicije poput autocesta i druge infrastrukture, ostvaruju troak kapitala od oko 6%, zaklju?ak je Pricetag projekta. Usporedbe radi, troak kapitala u Gr?koj za vjetroelektrane i sun?ane elektrane iznosi izme?u 7 i 13%, dok je isti izme?u 4 i 6% u Slova?koj.
